A program day will vary, but may include a trip to the grocery store, bowling alley, community college, training a client in basic cooking and housekeeping skills, volunteering at the local food bank, attending medical appointments, completing art projects, exercising, or practicing relaxation techniques.
Job duties of Support Staff include providing companionship and skills training to clients, ensuring client safety, accompanying clients on recreational outings, and assisting with the provision of medications and household functions.
The successful candidate must have experience in human services (care giving, social work, counseling, teaching, tutoring, CNA, etc.), good communication skills, a reliable vehicle, a valid drivers' license, car insurance, and a clean driving record (no more than one or two points). Patience and tact are also essential for serving our population.
Multiple Shifts Available immediately.
*Full Time Positions - these positions are benefited (health, dental, paid time off, retirement plan)
**Part Time Support Staff Positions- part time positions may be combined to reach full time status (full time = 30+ hrs./week).
